Hi there,
I recently installed 2 node servers in HA with the latest 8 version of the software.
I plan to run a file server on the product.
Before on prior versions we were used to be able to connect to the lun via iscsi from other servers, now if i try to connect is says that the licence does not permit more than 2 clients... So my main question is how can i access the disk using the free version?
Thank you

Hi Jviera,
The free version of starwind does not allow external block-level access over iSCSI to your LUNs. But Windows Scale-Out-File-Server does the job. Install the role on both servers along with MS Failover Cluster, arm it with locally mirrored CSVs provided by starwind and give it out as SMB 3.0 or NFS share to your external servers.

+1 to Darklight's statement.
Anything else I can help here with?
