Will StarWind have any issues if one of my HA nodes is Windows 2008 R2, and the other one is Windows 2012 R2?

Will work as we don't use Windows Clustering Service and everything (voting, replication, node majority etc) is implemented by StarWind R&D team in-house.

But... 2008 R2 lacks some quite important features (like f.e. loopback TCP acceleration path) and is definitely slower then 2012 R2 so... You'll get nodes with non-symmetric performance :)

You can do it in the lab for sure but we're not going to support this in production sorry about that :)
