Hi!

You can't to use the system hard drive in the SPTI mode. This mode demands the volume is accessed in exclusive mode - so it fails with a system drive.

I'd suggest you to use the ImageFile plug-in to create virtuals volume(s) over the disk partition and export the volumes as iSCSI targets.

Hi,

What is your StarWind license?
You need a Professional license to use the ImageFile plug-in.
(The trial version allows all the plugins and unlimited connections.)

To create and export an ImageFile target chose 'ImageFile' in the 'Add device' dialog. In the following step you need to specify location of the ImageFile? its size and mark the flag 'Create if not exists' to allocate disk space for the image.

BTW Reading manuals could help sometimes. ;)
