Moin
I use StarWind Free for evaluating iSCSI. I created the Image File and connect the Target with my ESX 3.5 .
The Connection and Datastore work fine. But i can not setup any Kind of VM (W2K3 Server, W2K Pro or Server).
The first setup step (format and copy) run but after the first restart of the VM it stop with Blue Screen, Stop: 0x0000007B .
No matter what I try, no VM works.
Also a ready-vm, which I copied to the iscsi storage did not work.
I'm about to give up.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in StarWind...To get started trouble shooting, could you send me your Starind log file (C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind\logs\) bob.boule@starwindsoftware.com I would like to have a look at this to rule out any potential starwind issue. Also, could you tell me a little more about your setup, specifically what type of server you are running your ESX host on, and the type of hardware you are running the StarWind server on and the OS of the starwind box.

Dont be discouraged, many times these issues are simple to fix!!

Thanks,

Bob

I don't think it's a good idea to write anything like "I'm about to give up" in the very first request. Support staff are humans too.
