Hello,

When the Storage(SR1521) is shared by Windows PCs with Starport Enterprise Edition,it is possible to exist a problem about access security.
For example,A client has partitioned and formatted the Storage ,and then he writes some files into it.But A doesn't want to let B client access those files and further see them.A wants to let C client access those files. Is there function about controlling access privilege in the Starport.
Pls respond me when you have free time. Thanks!

Gino

We do only redirection thing inside StarPort (like you take your ATA hard diks and plug it to the other machine). So if OS itsef does not keep user access rights inside extended attributes or does not use encryption/passwords to protect data - we can really do nothing to help... Sorry for this!
