Starport V2.6.4, Build 20050925 fails to connect to an Overland REO 1000 device:

"Invalid driver response: no targets suppled"

What exactly does this message mean?

Thanks!

Never mind. I see from another post here that this software doesn't even support target iSCSI lun assignments which completely limits its functionality. And the MS iSCSI initiator is free.

Hi,

The recent version does not support the feature, but we're planning to add it in the next version.
The matters is very few people need such a feature for the moment. You are the second one who asked about it. ;)

FYI StarPort includes some other features along with iSCSI - RamDisk and Virtual DVD modules.
And the next version will be extended with an AoE initiator.
Best regards,

When is the next version scheduled to be released?
