Do you have any plans to open source StarPort? If you're not expanding it - somebody else could do it :)

Not really... See it's based on unsupported "monolithic port driver" model so while this model can provide maximum performance and best control over I/O path there's virtually no way to get such a driver WHQL-ed and certified by Microsoft. Making long story short: not a good "basement" for any future development.

Soooo..

Have you had any progress on iSER rewritten yet? Looking to use iSER in Windows (as an initiator) and have not found a solution yet.

Yes, StarWind vSAN has user-mode polling iSER initiator built-in and we use all back end synchronizations over iSER / RDMA if hardware is compatible (RoCE & RoCEv2, iWARP has Network Direct v1 currently so isn't supported yet - waiting for Chelsea to upgrade their drivers to do NDv2).
