Hello, I'm trying to use the starport free edition to connect to an AoE target, but after selecting that I would like to add an AoE device, the dialog prompts me to choose an adapter, and there are none listed.

I saw another thread with the same issue posted in 2008 by another user who had simply reinstalled the software to fix the issue, but this does me no good. I have installed and rebooted, then attempted to add an AoE device and still get the same lack of adapters to choose from.

I am running:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
EVGA 780i SLi motherboard with built-in dual GigE ports (nVidia nforce drivers)

I also have a Broadcom 802.11n wireless-n adapter by linksys. I disabled the network bridge that I had set up to bridge the wired ethernet over the wireless LAN thinking that that had been the problem, but it is now deleted and all the network connections are set up manually with no bridge.

Is this an issue where x64 drivers aren't available for some reason?

I am seeing an identical issue running:

Windows Server 2008 R2
Dell Power Edge server (I think it's a 1950, but may be an 1850)
Intel Pro/1000 MT Ethernet (MS driver version 8.4.1.0)

Thanks!

Do you use StarPort 5.5 or older builds?

I have the same problem. I am running version 5.5 in both Windows 7 64-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit. Neither of them give me a netowrk adapter to select.

If you've used non-corporate e-mail or had sumbited questionable registration information your request could be rejected. You can drop a message to support@starwindsoftware.com with your registration details (e-mail at least) so we could authorize you manually.
