I am trying to connect a 2003 VMware Workstation VM to my Vista x64 Starwind host target using Starport. I keep getting a "connection refused setting check firewall". I disabled firewall on both the Vista Starwind host and the 2003 VM. I am using a Bridge NIC and I can ping and map drives both ways between the 2003 guest VM and the Vista host.

One thing that is odd is I can connect to that target using an iSCSI client directly from the Host using 127.0.0.1 but not using the real IP of the Vista box. Based on this I feel this is a Vista problem but for the life of me I can't seem to get past it.

I am absolutely sure the firewall service is disabled. I disabled it in services from both machines.

Can you ping port 3260 using telnet?
