Hello,

is there any page where I can find comparison MS iSCSI and StarWind StarPort ISCSI Initiators? Does StarPort allows multipathing?

Thanks

That's probably the only difference between StarPort and MS. StarPort does not allow multipathing at the moment. However, StarPort allows some advanced features like Mirroring.

Thanks.

MS iSCSI initiator is limited in 2 Tb partition size.
StarPort iSCSI initiator is not limited you can create 4 Tb partitions and maybe more

Right now StarPort is much more then just iSCSI initiator. It's also ATA-over-Ethernet and FC-over-Ethernet initiator, CD/DVD emulator and AES256 encrypted disk. In eddition to already referenced software RAID functionality.

I was wrong : MS iSCSI initiator is NOT limited to 2 Tb partition size. It can handle 4Tb or 8Tb partitions. I haven't tested bigger ...

But it still cannot do reliable mirror, cannot talk to AoE and FCoE targets and so on :)
