Hi

I created in starwind an image file target device .

I also created a virtual guest machine (win2003 server) with Ms DPM as backup system.
On that system I also installed Starport which I did connect to that iScsi device.
In DPM I assigned that disk as backup disk.

When DPM jobs are active the whole virtual system freezes at some point. Thried to activate other jobs etc. but it freezes every time somewhere during the job.

I don't have this problem when I connect to the same iscsi target\device using the Ms Initiator however..

Hello,

This is a known issue with StarPort working on the virtual machines. This however should not be happening on physical nodes. Our Development Team is working on a fix and we will let everyone know once it is fixed.

Thanks
Robert
