Hi there,

I created a raid-1 mirror device in starport. both mirror-1 and mirror-2 devices of the set are a mounted iscsi image file.

Next I want to extend the available 'disk' size of the mirror set. I did an extend of the image files on both iScsi targets but the available disk size of the original starport raid set remains to it's original size. How can I extend the size of this RAID-1 set?

any idea?

thanks, fred

In the current version of StarPort its not possible to extend the size of the RAID device, however, this will be implemented in the next releases.

Thanks

Hi Robert, any idea when this release can be expected..?
The RAID option (and so STARPORT, at least for me..) looks pretty useless if it's not possible to extend storage capacity.

Fred,

This enhancement is on our roadmap, however, we are unable to provide any exact timelines at the moment. The only thing that is obvious that this enhancement will not happen whithin 1 month.

Thanks
