Hey there,

I have a small server I built for my house that I'm having trouble getting working with my iSCSI box. The MS initiator was connecting but as soon as it did Disk Management became unresponsive.

I figured I'd give your initiator a try as maybe that was the failure. When I configure the StarPort initiator it connects and very shortly thereafter I get a blue screen and the system crashes.

If I connect any Vista laptop to the iSCSI box it connects just fine and works as advertised.

I'm very confused, any help your community can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!

If both initiators don't work reliably I think it's your machine software / hardware configuration to blame. Start with updating to the most recent NIC drivers and making sure no firewall software is used and active. If you'll continue to have issues after this please let us know. We'll continue.
