Hi,

I am using VMWare Server and I am wondering if I can use Starport with one of the virtual instances of Windows 2003 Standard server?

I have tried however I am getting an error stating: Failed to connect to the remote server. Server may be refusing network connections...

I can use Microsoft Initiator on the host machine, but get this error when trying to use Starport. There is no firewall or anything setup that would be blocking communications.. Any ideas?

Hi,
are you sure that windows firewall is configured correctly or stopped?
What iSCSI target server do you use? StarWind?
Is it possible for you to capture the network traffic between client and server using ethereal/wireshark and send that file to us?
Also if you use StarWind please zip and send us logs from StarWind installation directory.
