Hi, Starport v3.2 installed in Windows 2000 Server SP4 under GSX 3.0 in Windows 2003 server.
Driver dismounted then fire control panel to uninstall Startport.
The Uninstall freese after first progress block show on progress bar either in windows enhance mode or safe mode. Have to call task manager to kill that session in force.
Worst part is the windows 2000 server cannot boot into enhance mode anymore.
Any suggestion?

Regards
Chris

Hi,

Have you unmounted all of the devices from StarPort before uninstalling?
Best regards,

What software (Veritas/Symantec LVM thing, backup, Roxio/Symantec filters) do you have installed? Can you send us complete software list?

Try to delete StarPort.sys from the System32\Drivers folder. Brute force but we've never got anything like this reported before...
