impossible to detect autoloader / charger tape in starwind t

since a week , we've been trying to detect the autoloader / charger tape in starwind tape redirector ( Powervault TL1000) , but it can't be listed
We changed drivers for Dell drivers
update firmware ,
Changed the Library mode to random
But still can’t found the physical tape autoloader /changer in starwind tape redirector,
however it detect a standalone physical tape
PS: we're on W2016 /hyperv

Did the problem happen all of a sudden or did you just start using Tape Redirector?

hi,
thanks for the prompt response ,
i start using starwind vsan for tape redirector
but it never detected the media changer
I tried with the starwind SPTD feature but without success
I no longer find a solution

Could you please share the StarWind logs us here?
Use Google Drive, Sharepoint, etc, to transfer the file.

I noticed that the software does not detect the autoloader. It may be that it does not detect the device at all.

how and where can i check that please ?
in devices mangement i can see the autoloader , but i can call it through starwind

The software may not work with this hardware. I see no devices with a similar name to attempt to discover.

The software detects no Powervault TL1000 at all. Please let me discuss this with my colleagues.

Hello, the device you see in the tape redirector wizard (
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wk6fz_ ... S0wU6/view) matches one you have here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zkIjn8 ... 7s4XT/view. Check the SCSI value.
Also, if that is a charger (
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zkIjn8 ... 7s4XT/view) it should have charger not sequential in its SCSI value.
