Hello,

I’m trying the tape redirector.

I managed to connect the iSCSi Initiator on a Win Server 2008 R2 without problems, but I do not see the device listed on the device manager.

What might be the problem?

I’m sharing one standalone tape drive installed on a physical Windows 2008 R2 server.

Attached is the log file.

Thanks.
Regards,
Guillermo.-

Hi!

Have you installed the driver for it?

Hi Anatoly!

Incredible suggestion, it worked! is there an installation manual? I haven't found any...

I'll try how it works and get back with the results.

Thanks!

You really need to follow your tape drive manual rather then StarWind one. So StarWind just blindly redirects (well... almost) SCSI traffic from one machine to another -
we have no idea what tape drive (loader) you use and what you do to configure it.

Good! Now try to restore everything in a test mode to be sure you'll be fine @ some point.

Oh, nice to know :)

Nope. We don't accept money for this kind of stuff. Just use it :)
