¿Is a good practice to use Tape Redirector to connect and use FC tapes as ISCSI tapes from the physical machine to virtual machines throught an Hyper-V Internal Virtual Switch?

I dont see reason why not. Well, it is always better to have backup software (I`m assuming that that is why you have tapes) on physical machine. One more thing that I must mention - our software works with iSCSI protocol only.
