...or should we have this functionality as part of our StarWind iSCSI SAN & NAS? Your feedback is welcomed. Thanks!

I'd like it kept as a stand alone product, as, being honest, it's currently the only Starwind product we use. Reducing installed apps/services is always nice.
Thanks again for making it available

Yes.
P.S. Please spawn a dedicated thread for your questions. This one is quiz. Thanks!

Yes, please keep it as a standalone product. It is more simplified getting approval for an application that does one thing and not multiple things built in. Information security here does not like to see unnecessary services running on our machines. Thank you!

Looks like we'll unify all the products into single StarWind framework. Pain to release and test one-by-one.

Please leave it as an standalone free product or integrate it in the free version.
Is it possible to use MPIO in the free tape redirector, for me it seems to be not working.
Thanks for your great free software.

1) We'll keep is as a part of the free product offering.
2) You cannot use MPIO with a tape.

I have to extend the current assigned image file from a NAS.
Current scenario is out of 7 TB assigned 3 TB and need to extend 1 TB more. If I simply extend the existing image is there any chance of data loss?
Please guide.

Manoj Majhi

Tape Redirector has no images so I have no clue what you're talking about. If you have a problem with a core functionality please spawn a dedicated thread with a detailed description of what you do and why. Then we'll help. Thanks!

Tape Redirector is unified with a StarWind Virtual SAN (functionality offered in a free version as well). Thanks to everybody for your voting!
