Hello,
I've just installed Tape Redirector on Hyper-V Server 2008 R2. My HP LTO-4 tape drive is the only device connected to a Adaptec 29320lpe HBA. It is shown in Device Manager and can be accessed with HP Library and Tape Tools but Tape Redirector doesn't find it. Any suggestions?

Regards, Tobias

Would you please provide us with the screenshot that shows that the drive is not listed in the wizard?

Thank you.

Mostly issues like this are happening because tape is resered by some another process (application) like DPM for example. Would you please doublecheck that?

There were no other processes. Even with a completely new/blank installation on a different Server, it was not possible to get it runnig. The drive was never recognized. Now I migrated from Hyper-V to 2008 R2 and every thing is fine. Without any trouble. Thanks.
