logs attached. services just restarted after backup execl all stopped and logs cleared shortly after 3pm today.

Here is the quotation:

please install the StarWind Service that I`ve sent you on the email that you have used to register on our forum. This build logs more information, that help us all to investigate the issue. To install it correctly you need to stop StarWind service, backup the StarWindService.exe file (just copy it somewhere) and replace it with the file that I`ve sent. afer that open starwind.cfg file and change string <LogLevel value="1"/> to <LogLevel value="2"/>. After this you can start the service and try to cteate device again. If this attempt will be unsuccessful then please share the log with us.

ok I did this, but the service will not stay running - get the 'service has started then stopped' message when I start the starwind service. logs attached. the log appears to say there is an error reading the .cfg file but tried both before and after editing the starwind.cfg file.

OK, we have assembled new build. Would you be so kind to try the same actions that you`ve already done with it?

put in the replacement service, it runs now. same results trying to export the changer. logs attached.

Just quick update: I`ve passed the logs to R&D and they are investigating them for now.

All I can say for now is that we will have fix for this in the next build that should be avaialble in about 3 weeks.
As the temporary solution you can try to use StarWind Free. Please note that in this case you will need to export tape first and after the changer. To make it more useful you can bind those two to one target.
