Veeam Cannot lock tape drive

Hi Team,

I have been trying to setup mine Veem B&R with the Starwind VTL free version.
The configuration process really goes smoothly, apparently without issues.
I was able to create the Target, the VTL devices and the tapes using the powersheel scripts, and seems that everything is fine.
Configured the Windows Server 2019 to connect in the iSCSI, and after updated the LTO drivers to use the HPE one.
From inside of the Veeam, I was able to detect the new Library, and also, see the two medias available.

Now, when I try to "Inventory the tape" or "erase tape", I always receive the error Unable to perform Tape erase for library HP MSL G3 Series 9.50: cannot lock tape drive

I have been struggling on this issue along the day today.... :(

Does someone already faced this issue? Some idea what could be the error here?

I have been struggling on this issue for quite a while now too and the solution above didn't solve my problem.

Welcome to StarWind Forum. Did you try contacting Veeam on those error codes?
