Hi,

Been looking at the example powershell script and there is no provision to create a tape with a custom barcode.
Is there one?

What i'm trying to do is quickly create multiple tapes with a specific prefix to make searching in Azure quicker and more intuitive.
Each tape job in Veeam, would have its own tape pool to draw from.
I appreciate this creates a small over head for us.

Unless you can suggest another better way?

Thanks in advance
Andy.

Just to finish off this thread, and say thank you to the team, they worked with what i asked them and incorporated it into the latest version of Starwind VTL - testing was delayed due to covid.
I can confirm the ability to add custom tape Barcodes using the separate powershell script.

Thanks chaps

Hello, can you post the script to the forum? I have a similar requirement and would like to use the script as a staring point. Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter,

Welcome to StarWind Forum! The script should be already in the latest revision of StarWindX. Check it out. Let me know if additional assistance is needed.
