Cannot Launch StarWind Management Console

I just installed StarWind iSCSI SAN on Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-bit) to try out the free edition. However, every time I try to open the StarWind Management Console, the following error window pops up:

I took a look at the error log and it appears the service is running just fine:

Try using some other Windows version to run Management Console @ this moment. We've never tried Windows 2003 R2 with the most recent builds (we'll do it with V5.9 once again). It does not affect running a service (as you've already noticied). Thanks!

What's the link to download older/different version of StarWind? I can't find it on the main website.

Ok, so I was able to install just the management console on a copy of Windows 7 and that seems to solve the issue for now. I was able to connect to the server and create a new iSCSI target for use with VMware ESXi. It would be nice to be able to launch the management console from the server, however.

Most people don't do it. I mean they don't use Windows 2003 and don't run management console in a loopback. However we'll fix this with V5.9 (test build is already present).
