Would you please consider the option to define/choose LUN id for each device?
Currently to setup a device with LUN id 2 I would need to add 3 devices and then delete the first two devices again.

Why not just let us select the LUN id?

Righ now it possible to do only by editing the target section of starwind.cfg file.
Just set id as :LUN_id after the device name.
For examle,
<target name="targetname" alias="my target" devices="ImageFile0:0,ImageFile1:5"/>
sets LUN_id=0 for ImageFile0 and LUN_id=5 for ImageFile1
