iSCSI v8.0.6180 esxi 5.5 Problems

Hi,

I have a NFS datastore ( use to keep my template )
and I just created a thin iSCSI lun it was created as LSFS Disk
I added it to esxi 5.5 storage enable storage i/o and round-robin.

I tried to deploy a win2k12r2 template from the NFS datastore to the iSCSI lun, it failed with error message.

So I created another iscsi lin this time thick, but it created "FLAT" !!!!!!!!
this is not lsfs right?
what the diff with this vs lsfs ?
will I still get the benefit of dedup+auto-defrag ?

anyway I deployed the template to this thick lun as thin-VM and it works, but slow, because it had to copy from NFS to iSCSI.

Just a Note:
Is there a software like startwind v8 for NFS?
Can I create a thick LSFS Disk ?
Can I convert thin to thick and thick to thin in the final version ?

We need StarWind log files. Please send to beta-testing e-mail.

right
what the diff with this vs lsfs ?
thick - ImageFile -The file is a RAW set of sectors of the virtual hard drive.
thin - LSFS
will I still get the benefit of dedup+auto-defrag ?
No. ImageFile does not have them.
Can I create a thick LSFS Disk ?
Can I convert thin to thick and thick to thin in the final version ?
No. But theoretically it is possible to implement.

Thanks!
I am really sorry for the delay.
We are working hard on the next StarWind build and it will cover most of the issues reported in the beta forum topics.
