Hi,

I have recently installed 8 Beta2 onto 2 Server 2012 R2 servers (2 node cluster). I have System Center VMM 2012 R2 installed in a Hyper-V VM. I can use VMM to provision non-HA disks to each node, but when I attempt to provision a HA disk I get an error straight away from VMM.

Error (26135)
Creating storage logical unit HA-Storage on storage pool ConcretePool_SERVER1.Domain.local_Clustered-Storage failed with error code 4 [SM_RC_GENERIC_FAILURE]. CIM_ERR_FAILED

Recommended Action
Specify valid parameters for creating logical unit.

VMM creates a .img file on the partner host but no target and nothing on the host with the SMI-S agent.

Can anyone help point me in the right place for some fault diagnosis?

I am totally new to Starwind so forgive me if I have made a basic error somewhere!

Thanks!!

Hi,

I have followed the guide for the most part, it seems a little out dated now, as you guys release new builds (I didn't need to create iSCSI targets as the StarWind software did this for me). I have gotten everything working with normal disks in my Flat ConcretePool. I have also manually created a HA .img file on both nodes and added this to a failover cluster, I just cant seem to get it working from VMM. It's not the end of the world, I am happy to wait for a while I know this is only in Beta, just wanted to see if anyone else was having issues.

Can you confirm that you have created the HA through the SCVMM?
Also, can you bring non-HA device to work VMM?
