Regarding DE Duplication your notes on installing V8 states limited functionality for older DDisks, my assumption was that it would at least be read only or reduced performance the reality is it will only display the DDisk as non-active and not usable. “Disks need to be converter to img prior to install” needs to be added to the notes

Reloading V6 seems to restore original functionality, allowing for the conversion, luckly both V6 and V8 remembers the configuration 

We'll support existing devices of course. Just (maybe) disable ability to create old-format ones with V8.

Beta-2, Dedup from version 6 are still not working at least for me, my current solution is to copy the contents out and into a new Thick IMG Lun that does work in V8
