StarWind migrate from Hyper-V to vcenter as Thin

When I migrate a single Hyper-V file to vCenter (using ‘Create new VM’), I can choose whether to create a thick VHDD (high storage usage) or a thin VHDD (low storage usage). However, when I migrate a VM from a Hyper-V system to vCenter, I am not presented with this choice. The VM is defined as ‘Thin’ / "VhdType Dynamic" in the source. Do I need to migrate the VM again in vCenter using Storage Migration to reduce the size of the disks, or am I missing a setting somewhere? 'Thin' is permitted at the destination; only thin VMs are located there.

Thank you very much for any helpful advice.

For now, this is the software limitation.
We are working on introducing proper thin conversion.

That would have been nice, but unfortunately I had to look for another solution and am now using ‘VMware vCenter Converter 9’. I thought I could give my colleagues a simple tool that they could use in a variety of ways.
I’m looking forward to it if this option is included. It’s already possible for individual hard drives, after all. :)
