Inject Motherboard Serial number into QCOW2

hi,

i have a Windows 11 PC that has software running on it that is linked to my motherboard PC. I need to migrate my machine to a VM, but need to find a way to spoof the MB serial number.

essentially, when i run the software on the machine, it checks the MB Serial number, matches that against a remote database, and the allows or rejects access.

is there a way to set this?

Welcome to StarWind Forum. V2V covnerter is dealing with the data only. You get exactly the same system but virtualized. I am not sure if you can spoof the MB number.
