Cant connect to ESXi/Vcenter with V2V Migrator

Greetings,

I'm having an auth issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I'm attempting to convert VMWare VM's to HyperV. The issue is I am unable to authentication to the ESXi server. I keep getting the message the username and password is incorrect even though I'm SURE I'm entering in the proper credentials....just says "Cannot complete login due to an incorrect username or password". I can login to the console just fine with the same account.

I'm using the latest V2V converter (9.0.1.509) and vSphere(7.0.3.001000). Am I missing something? Any services need to be running to auth? What could be preventing authentication. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.
What ESXi version it is?
Try disabling firewall and use root credentials.

Please try using ESXi root password.
Could you run V2V from the VM that is running in the same network as ESXi host?
