I am migrating a virtual server from a colo to Azure. I have done 1 before but not of this size. The server I am moving is quite large (14TB), and not sure if that is the cause. I enter the information correctly for my tenant, all the right resource group, etc. Pick the size, it starts converting just fine (creates a storage account) then about half way through, it fails with "error reading file"
I looked in the Event Viewer but dont see any entries for the software, is there any other log file?

Hi,

May I learn more about the conversion scenario? What is the target hypervisor? Also, did the conversion for the previous VM succeed?
Event logs do not store sufficient information about conversion please share the V2V converter logs from C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind V2V Converter\logs.

this is an entire machine conversion, so basically like a p2v conversion. Trying to attach the log but getting extension not allowed. Tried changing to .txt and .log no good.

Can you please let me know what is the guest OS?
Did you try converting the disk, not the VM?

i have migrated the same way previously, no issue. It is a Windows Server. What do you mean convert the disk? Convert to what?
