Hyper-v 2019 to Hyper-v 2019 - Error creating image file

Hi There,

So I am trying to copy one Hyper-V VM to another Hyper-N Host and I keep getting the following error:

"Error creating image file" - Conversion Failed

I suspect maybe disk space? Not sure can you give me some guidance on how to troubleshoot the issue.

1. Disk space
2. Disk health.
3. Make sure checkpoints are merged.

Plenty of disk space, disk health is fine and all checkpoint are merged. Any other suggestions?

Can I have a screenshot of the VM settings and a copy of the conversion log?

Does the source VM need to be turned off, during this cloning process?

Yes, please try shutting down the VM. Sadly the VM settings you shared do not contain the information I need. I need to see the disk the VM is using (Please press inspect disk).

It says the VM is running from the checkpoint. Please merge the checkpoints and try converting while VM is off.
