I have a physical server on an isolated VLAN that requires a jumpbox in order to RDP to or copy files to.

I wanted to know what ports besides 80, 8080 & 443 need to be open between the isolated VLAN & the regular network the vCenter server lives in.

Also is it recommended to run the StarWind P2V Migrator from the physical server being migrated or from the jumpbox. If from the jumpbox are there specific ports I need to have open in order to run the P2V.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

No, just these ports. For VMware, V2V converter uses TCP ports 443 and 80. For Hyper-V, it uses WMI to connect to the hosts.
Check on these threads https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/vie ... v2v#p33463

Run P2V from the host that is to be converted.
