Hyper-v To Vmware

Hello

I have a hyper-v host in one location, and a vmware host in another location with a slow wan link between them.

I would like to convert the hyper-v VM on the source host and save it to an external drive, and them move that to the other location and transfer to the vmware host.

However, after i choose the source as hyper-v host and choose the VM, on the destination page, local file is greyed out.

Any help would be appreciated

You can convert VHDX to VMDK on local storage and move it to the external storage.
