Maybe I didn't look hard enough, Windows supported guest operating systems is clearly spelled out as 2008R2 and later.

Looking around for the supported Linux guest Operating System support, but unable to find definitive documentation. Can anyone provide a doc or link on that?

We do not have any requirements for guest OS though.
