Hi
New on this board and this software. Using StarWind V2V Converter (9.0.1.268)

Just tried to convert a Windows 10 client from Hyper-V to Vmware and just get the following error message:

Opening image file D:\Hyper-V\VHDX\MyW10.vhdx
Error opening image
Error opening file
Conversion failed

Is there any log somewhere that can give me more info why I get this error message ?

While shutting down a VM, please do not set a reason of shutdown. Try conversion again then.

It was a Windows 10 that did not work, but our Windows Server 2008 R2 worked and it was those that was the important servers.

Greetings,

Please try converting an individual disk for Windows10 VM and set up a VM afresh using the existing data.
