I create a vhdx file from acronis .tib using the acroinis create vhd I then try to open with v2v i get the error2 cannot open file see log attached
this did work about a month ago for several VM's I'm creating however it seems to have stopped working now on all my PC's
i have even tried this on an old win 10 with different versions of acronis to export the .tib file to vhdx but get the same error.
( have tried several different versions of acronis from 2019 > 2022 cyber protect to create the files same error)

this was working!!

Greetings,

Please try creating a test disk in the Hyper-V manager and run the conversion from there. Please also note that the latest V2V converter was released back on November 16 and it does not update automatically.

I have found a way round by restoring the tib to an external drive and then creating a VM from a physical disk,
however what i don't understand is why i could do the conversion direct from the exported Acronis vhdx to vhdk conversion before and not now what's changed?
