Error during VM conversion Esx 5.5 to 7

Hello,

I'm trying to convert Vmware virtual machines from Esx 5.5 to esx 7. It's woks for old Vm version (2003 server, redhat 6.0) but each time I try to convert a 2019 server or windows 10, I got the same error: the server refused the connection...

Hi,

Could you try converting individual disks not VMs? Also, make sure to have the VM turned off.

Hi ,
I've tried with the vmdk file only and the same result. (the server refused connection, always at 12%)

I've tried to transfer to two different Esx servers but it fails.

Can you copy the VMDK to Windows Server and convert it as a local file?
Make sure to turn off the VM in question to avoid possible data inconsistency.

It's not an an issue with vmware 7 because when I try to copy the vmdk file from the Esx 5.5 to my local drive, I got the same error at 12% "the server refused connection"

Can you copy the file locally and convert it, please?
