Esxi Free?

Hi,
New to this converter but have been tasked with migrating a couple of VM's onto a Hyper-v server 2019 host. The possible issue is that they are running Esxi 6 free version and I Know VM Backup software will not run on free version.

The intension was to complete a single VM over the weekend and run the V2V converter on the Server 2019 host.

So simple question - should this work?

Yes, it works with ESXi 6 Free.

Ok thanks for reply . Was checking previous posts and came across an old 2019 post that indicated this would be an issue (from VMware side). https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/vie ... 988#p29515

error "Current license or ESXi version prohibits execution of the requested operation."

Moderator response "If you see that message, most probably you are using the free version of ESXi. To the best of my knowledge, that connection restriction exists because of limitations on the VMware's side"

perhaps this was related to older versions of convertor?
