Hi Everybody!

I'm trying to convert an Entire PC to a VM, but in the Enter Microsoft Hyper V Server Connection Parameters page I got the error Invalid Namespace (0x8004100e) and I can't move from there.
A couple of things to take into consideration:
  • Software Version: StarWind V2V Converter (9.0.1.243)
  • OS from the PC that I'm doing the conversion: Windows 10 Pro
  • I already reinstalled the app, the same issue happens
  • I don't have logs due to the process get stuck in this step
With that said, can someone help me?

Hi,

That can be related to non-ASCII symbols.

https://www.starwindsoftware.com/v2v-he ... erver.html
Please run it from a remote machine and type your hostname and password for that VM.

In this case, I'm running the converter from the PC that I want to convert to VM. Should I put in the credentials an admin account that is on this PC?.

You should be able to run conversion as localhost. Try converting it from another Windows VM/server.
