Access is Denied. (0x80070005)

I am attempting remote VMWare to HyperV.

I am able to authenticate to VMWare but when I attempt to enter HyperV connection paramaters it gives me "Access is Denied. (0x80070005).

I have tried using FQDN, IP, etc.

I searched forum and the only other mention seemed a different issue.

V2V - VMWare to HyperV

The VMWare accepts the information per the prior listed logs, but something happens on the HyperV side.

Are you logging using the local admin or the domain administrator?

Sorry for the slow reply, got distracted by a critical software issue.

I am logged onto my conversion computer using the local administrator. Do I need to be logging into the server running the software as a domain admin?

You need to be logged as a local admin. Are you able to proceed further than the credentials screen? If so, can I have the full conversion logs once again please?

There must be something with logging in. Did you try conversion for another machine?

I'm logged in as the local administrator on my converting PC. Is it necessary for me to log in as a domain admin to the server where the program is installed?

While converting the file, please log in as root on the VMware server and as a local admin on the destination server.

It won't help. You need to have full "root" (or "Administrator") privileges to access virtual machines.
