Hello, I have to migrate five VMware ESXI VM's from a cloud to an on-premise Hyper-V server. The migration would occur over a 100 Mb/s site to site VPN connection. I have a couple questions:

1. Can the migration occur while the company still uses their cloud VM's?
2. Two of the VM's are a remote desktop services server (RDS) and a file server. The RDS depends on the file server, and the file server has a 3TB disk attached to it. Both need to be migrated before they can go 'live' on premise. What would the best approach be for this, with minimal downtime?

Thank you

Welcome to StarWind Forum.
You still need to shut down the VMs before converting.
