I am trying to convert a VM to Azure.

To test if it works at all I left out the second hdd, since I always get Toxen Lifetime problems, but now I get another error message:

Code: Select all

Greetings,

Can we have the entire log? You can find it here C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind V2V Converter.
Token issue is not related to the disk choice. Is that disk carrying the OS?

Yes the disk is carrying the os.
I have attached the logs.

Please add both drives. See if it works with both drives. One more time: token thing is not related to Disk issue.

The system hast two sperate hdd.
The first one has a "System Reserverd" Partition and a normal "C:" partition.
Both where selected during the convert.

The second hdd is only a temp drive. With no real data in it.
So i unchecked it during convert.

Do I have to convert the second hdd, also?

Thank you for the update. Please try converting both disks once Token issue is resolved.

What makes you think it has something to do with the Token Lifetime?

Token issue is not related to the disk choice.
As per my comment, the token issue is the whole different problem.
Try to extend the token lifetime and run the conversion of both disks once again.

Greetings,

Please, try converting both disks. If that does not work, please provide us with the log.
Also, consider logging a support case with us https://www.starwindsoftware.com/support-form.

I was able to migrate the mashine to Azure.
First I had to V2V convert the mashine using VMware vCenter Converter.

After that I used StarWind V2V to migrate the local VM to Azure.

So I had not to bother with Access Token Lifetime.
