Hi,
Just downloaded the new V2V converter.
Trying to P2V W2008R2 an receive this message after a few minutes:
This format is not supported (19) [122] Current virtual disk not supported. Converted error.
Any clues?
Regards

the converter worked beautifully on win2016 --> ie converting win2016 physical host to vhdx
However, the converter gave the above reported [122] error on Windows 7 and Windows 2008 r2 host -- when attempting to convert them to vhdx
The error should be easily reproduced by StarWind staff
Thx

Hi Oleg,
When you said Windows 7 and Windows 2008 are not supported - they don't seem to be entirely true.
Windows 7 / Windows 2008 r2 hosts converted to VDMK without error.
For the same Windows 7 / Windows 2008 r2 hosts, attempted conversion to VHD or VHDX however failed with the [122] error.
More importantly, the error message says "current virtual disk not supported" - it did not say conversion not supported just the virtual disk (vhd/vhdx). As mentioned above, conversion of the same hosts to VDMK format are successful.
First class vmware support and hyper-v support not as good?
Thx

The libraries needed for conversion to VHD or VHDX of OS Windows 7 / Windows 2008 are not added yet.
They should be added to the next builds.

I get this same error whenever a .VHD file is either the source or destination. I've been using this utility since 5.6 and it has always worked well on VHD to VMDK and vice versa . I just downloaded the latest release, which is version 8, I believe. Did you receive and answer on this issue?
Documents says it supports VHD and VHDX.

Hello
Seeing the exact same issue with a Win7 machine. Is it supposed to be supported now ? If so happy to "debug" it...
