Gentlemen,
Seeing as how this is my first post, and as of minutes ago-first attempt at converting Hyper V to VM Workstation 11, I'll get to the point..
I have scoured about and not found a real step by step conversion manual of sorts to accomplish conversions.
Could it be that I've just missed it? It is possible, what I did follow was this set of directions (http://oxfordsbsguy.com/2015/03/02/how- ... rkstation/).
Conversion with V2V seemed to go well, no hangups or error to speak of.
My desires are simple and straight forward enough. Convert my Hyper V images to VM Workstation 11 images.
My 1st attempts failed ( Picture attached). I will assume I did something wrong, there for will ask, does anyone have 'step' that I should follow to ensure a working conversion?
Host systems specification are below... I would be greatly appreciative if anyone could supply me some steps to follow, to achieve the end goal.

Update:

After a few repeated tries, I have found success now on one VM, but moving to do more.
Although I don't quite understand on step 17 of the prior linked document, it instructs you on 'Selecting a Disk Type' to select SCSI (Recommend).
While all my HDD are Solid state, and give an excellent performance boost- would this really matter?

Update:
After having 1 success at the conversion, I went on to try another with no success.
After having a sucssesful convertion, and starting up Workstation to powerup the new VM, I get this error. Unable to find this 'vmware-vmx.exe' file.
When I convert, I have the V2V read it from one folder and write it to a different folder. IS this wrong?

Actually, it looks like VMware file is missing. Try reinstalling it, guidance for that can be found here:
