Hello, I have a couple of large 2TB VHDX files that I need to convert to use with VMWare vSphere 5.5. If I try to convert using Starwind V2V I come across one of two issues.

1.) if I try VMWare Growable Image it says file is too large
2.) if I try VMWare Pre-Allocated Image I get the error in the attached screen shot. Details:

Hello,
VMWare doesn't support virtual discs larger than 2040Gb independent of their type ( growable or pre-allocated ).
You not able to create 2Tb (2048Gb) or larger VMWare images.

In this case you got correct message when try convert to Growable VMWare image.

Thank you for report,
we fix bug with pre-allocated image size checking asap.

Regards,
Alex

thanks
