Error opening file (2) [2]

I'm trying to open a vmdk file, and I'm getting
Error opening file (2) [2]
c:\<path to the file>\streamed.vmdk
However, streamed.vdmk isn't actually the name of the file that I'm asking the converter to open.
Any ideas?
