V2V VMDK does not boot

Hi. Newbie, please be kind.

I used V2V v9.0.1 to successfully convert a running Win10 physical disk to VMDK, then in VMWare Workstation replaced the existing blank .vmdk with the V2V one. Does not boot - reports "no media". What have I done wrong, or what additional steps do I need to perform?

Check the boot order, please, and try the IDE controller.
