Dear friends,
I have multivirtual environment with ovirt, proxmox, esxi.
While esxi and proxmox connections sets up with no issues, the v2v with ovirt connection always gets a "The host name or credentials are wrong".
I'm trying to connect with user credentials "admin@internal" and "kvm.local/ovirt-engine/sso/" and I also tried with other variations and paths but nothing is working for now.
Any help is appreciated

You are using admin@internal as your username, which is standard for oVirt. Ensure that this account is legitimate and has the necessary rights to access the oVirt engine via the API. The kvm.local/ovirt-engine/sso/ portion appears to hint that you are attempting to use SSO (Single Sign-On) authentication. Check that your migration tool uses and supports the correct authentication mechanism.

I disabled antivirus software and firewall, and nothing has changed, the issue still occurs.
I can login with that account 'admin' via www and with other third party backup software but I cant login via v2v starwind conventer.
In my opinion that 'admin' account seems to have all necessery priveleges.
I use ovirt 4.5.5 nad v2v converter 9.0.1.509

User admin@ovirt@internal connecting from '192.168.16.230' failed to log in : 'Unable to log in. Verify your login information or contact the system administrator.'.

Hi,
Could you please confirm that you restarted the machine you used to run the V2V converter? I noticed that disabling AV might sometimes require a restart.
Also, please try updating V2V to the latest build.
If that still does not work, please pull the new set of logs.
Have a nice weekend!
